Does Businest take commission on my projects?
No — never. Plans are flat monthly rates, and we never take a percentage of your project revenue. When a buyer hires you through Businest, the entire transaction is between you and them.
What happens at the end of the 14-day free trial?
Your account automatically reverts to the Starter (free) plan at the end of the trial — no surprise charges. You can choose to continue with Professional any time, and we'll email you 3 days before the trial ends as a reminder.
What counts as a "lead"?
A lead is any direct contact from a buyer — a quote request, a message via your profile, or a phone click. Businest doesn't charge per lead and doesn't artificially limit how many you can receive on any plan.
Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. You can downgrade to Starter or cancel at any time from your dashboard. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no penalties — your data stays on your account if you decide to come back.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Professional — if you're not satisfied within 14 days of upgrading, contact us for a full refund. Annual plans are pro-rated for unused months. Add-ons are non-refundable once delivered.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard for monthly billing. For Enterprise plans and annual prepayment, we also support bank transfer (Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa) and Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone). All payments are processed securely through licensed local processors.
Do prices include VAT?
Prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added to invoices based on your billing country (Ghana 12.5%, Nigeria 7.5%, Kenya 16%, South Africa 15%, Rwanda 18%). VAT-registered businesses can supply their tax ID for proper invoicing.
Is there a discount for non-profits or social enterprises?
Yes — registered non-profits, social enterprises, and educational institutions get 50% off Professional. Apply through our contact form with proof of registration and we'll set up a discounted account.
